[Solved] nvidia kernel module not installed/unavailable

I have a Dell laptop with Nvidia Optimus that I am trying to set up to use switching graphics via optimus-manager from the AUR. I have run into a problem, however, where it doesn't seem to be able to find any kernel module other than nouveau. This means I can only run it on Intel mode.

This is a bit weird, given that I have the Nvidia package installed. How can I fix this?

PS: I should note that I rolled back my kernel and headers to get rid of an issue with my Intel Wireless-AC 9462 card. Could that have caused a mismatch of some sort?

Yes if you downgraded the kernel you would need to downgrade the nvidia package or use nvidia-dkms.
