plasma-nm: Unknown security type

So after i decided to reinstall arch shortly after being unsatisfied with ubuntu, after getting everything setup i noticed that the KDE networks widget was showing Unknown security type for many networks, when they appear to be WPA* ones. So i went to the terminal and i ran

nmcli d wifi list

and it seems like NetworkManager was detecting the security type just fine. I tried following this https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=233226 but after several retries it never worked out. This problem never occured when i installed arch a couple weeks ago so it's either a bug or me just being dumb.

Thanks!

Re: plasma-nm: Unknown security type

no it is a new bug that appeared with new kde updates.
so you are not dumb.
maybe it has to do with them trying to get wpa3 to work.

Re: plasma-nm: Unknown security type

I also encountered this bug. It worked when I downgraded plasma-nm, and still works after re-upgrading.
