What's the difference between 'fstrim' and 'zpool trim [pool] in ZFS?

I've installed Arch with ZFS and all works good although I'm not familiar with ZFS yet. I normally have fstrim scheduled on a weekly basis but ZFS also supports trim through 'zpool trim [pool]'. What's the difference between them and should I schedule both or only one of them for my laptop SSD?
