I3 autostart my webbrowser before network connection is ready

Hello @all,

i autostart the browser on a specific workspace with i3:

workspace $ws2 output $mon2
assign [class="firefox"] $ws2
exec --no-startup-id firefox

The browser gets loaded on the right position.
But i always have to reload the startpage, because the network connection wasn't ready.
A systemd-networkd.service is used to connect to the wired network.

Is it possible to let i3 wait for network connection?
Some performance tricks to get a faster network connection?

I start most of my network-deåended apps form user-defined systemd services. You can let i3 start the services.
