Hi everyone,
I have created a small and lightweight address book written in C and GTK+2. It's very simple and has a clean interface. It's just at the beginning. gfa stores the addresses in a sqlite database, so it's very fast.
It's designed for the lightweight desktop, which don't have an own address book like in KDE Kontact. Send an email directly from gfa with your favourite email client will be implemented in the next release....
Homepage is here.
An AUR package is already there.
Feedback is very welcome...

EDIT: Project is now on sourceforge

Very nice. I look forward to the future e-mail support and expanded input fields.

It's been awhile since I've checked up on this, so forgive the question. Do the screenshots on the homepage reflect changes made in this version?

The screenshots shows the current state of the program. There are now more input fields, but they are hide through an expander which you can open and close.
The first screenshot shows the "standard" view with hide fields. The last screenshots shows the "extended" view with unhide fields. You can switch between the two views with the expander...

Nice work, personally I rarely use a mouse with my arch, so I'd still prefer CLI address books.

I can host a build of it in my repo if you want. (I've already got it built, just give me the word and it'll be in the repo)

Sure, put it in your repo. There is the PKGBUILD in the AUR, but I think a precompiled version is also good. Thanks.
I will post the link on the website, you can also put a link in the AUR comments of the package.

Ok, I'll do it once I get home.
