No native transparency in rxvt-unicode.

I am trying to enable native native transparency in rxvt-unicode as I do not not want to use a compositor.

I have done a lot of searches and found many solutions on the Arch wiki and other places, but none of them seem to work for me. Instead of pulling the contents of the x root window, it only shows the background color.

My full .Xresources.

My full Xorg.0.log.

I have tried setting the x root window image with both feh and hsetroot. I am using the modesetting driver on Intel Mobile GM965.

Does "urxvt -tr" work?
