Single-key hotkey AwsomeWM

I would like to launch "rofi -show run" by pressing the super key.

this is what i came up with but its not working:

awful.key({ }, "Mod4", function() menubar.show() end,
              {description = "Rofi search bar", group = "launcher"})

from what i understand the First parameter is the key you are supposed to press while the seccond on the 'trigger' is.

reading through the awesome wiki doesnt really help me
