Accessing Windows Share - Bypass password

Hi

I had to access a windows share via Thunar. It got accessible only after I gave user password of windows machine.

On the other way around windows 7 on my virtual only required access to the nework, and then required no password.

Is it possible to access without password?

Thankyou

Re: Accessing Windows Share - Bypass password

Yes, using the guest access. Since gvfs and thunar are rather inflexible in what they do, map bad users to guest: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sa … ng_a_share
Alternatively use a cifs mount.
