Hello,
A few days ago my PC crashed during an update. Keyboard, mouse and screen freeze. The sound of a running video can still be heard. This has led to a kernel panic
I also had the problem before the update. The PC freezes a few minutes after the start. After a reset, the PC usually runs all day without problems.
What could that be? How can I find the bug? Which log files should I look at?
Martin

Post journal and/or dmesg logs of a faulty boot: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … ing_output
Not an installation issue moving to NC...

Sorry for the late reply. In the past few weeks I have tried to find the error myself. Unfortunately without success. Here is the output from journal: http://ix.io/2kN5

There's an impressive amount of nouveau related crashes, did you consider installing and using the nvidia blob?

I installed the NVIDIA driver. Unfortunately my ARCH does not start with the driver up to the graphical user interface. I get a black screen

OK, you mean the log with the new NVIDIA driver?

Yes, to see why you get a black desktop.
