Hello. I'm running a desktop with GNOME on a Wayland session. I have an NVIDIA graphics card and I've installed the nvidia drivers, as opposed to the nouveau drivers.
I was able to verify I'm in a Wayland session with this command.
$ loginctl show-session 2 -p Type
Type=wayland
Then I went to Settings and turned on Night Light. I see the moon icon in the upper right corner, so I know it's on. However, nothing happens. The screen stays the same.
On the other hand, when I select GNOME on Xorg and go into an X11 session Night Light does work. On my other computer, GNOME+Wayland+Night Light works, the difference being that the other computer uses Intel graphics, instead of NVIDIA.
Is there a way to get Night Light working with NVIDIA graphics?
I had to set this https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … de_setting in order to get the Wayland session working in GNOME.

Nvidia and Wayland don't mix. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 1#p1884301
The answer is to switch back to X11.
