[solved] Virtualbox Win10 is preventing system to blank the screen

I set Linux to blank the screen after 10min of inactivity. However, when Win10 is run in Virtualbox, it says something like app locked the process.

I set power settings in Win as "High performance" and mostly disabled all of its power savings. Is there a setting to prevent virtual OS to interfere (or keep lock) with the main one? Truth is, I wouldn't want virtual OS to have any input on my main system.

That's likely a virtual box setting, check there.

Also look at

systemd-inhibit --list

for a list of applications holding a lock on power saving functionality.

Thanks. That list is actually super useful to check what's locking power saving.
