[closed] a way to specify minimal version for upgrading a package?

When I do "pacman -Syu," it tells me that I have a package that can be upgraded, say from 3.25.1-1 to 3.25.1-2. Is there a way to ask pacman not to upgrade the package till its version goes up by some specific number.

For instance, in my pacman.conf, can I do something like
IgnorePkg = pkg-name<3.25.2

or something similar to ignore packages till its version moves up sufficiently?

No, but if you add it to ignore you will be warned every time you update.

If you build the newer version locally pacman will not downgrade the package to the version in the repositories unless -u is used twice.
You would also have to rebuild all packages that require one for the new version of the package you updated.
