My cousin helped me install Arch on my netbook, a lenovo ideapad 110s-11ibr. I would like to get back into the UEFI setup utility to see if I can change the behavior of the function keys (currently, I need to hold fn for F1 to be F1; otherwise it's a volume key). This netbook used the "novo button," a small button you press with a pin while booting to bring up the BIOS. In Windows you could also hold shift while restarting to bring it up. Now, the novo button does nothing (and neither does the shift key). We used GRUB as the bootloader for this install. Is there a way to go back to the BIOS from grub before it launches arch? Other guides online suggest taking out the battery, which would require disassembly, and I'd like to see if there's another option first.

Solved. I appear to have been not waiting long enough after power cycle. I used only the novo button - not even pressing the power button - after the machine had been shut down for about 30 sec (suggested elsewhere online). Then the menu popped up after the lenovo splash, and I was able to access the BIOS screen and change the fn key functionality as I wished. If there are any questions about how this machine functions with Arch for the wiki I would be happy to answer them (though I have not yet tried bluetooth).

I also use this netbook, which keyboard layout and touchpad drivers are you using? I'm failing to recognize the correct model at the archwiki page, plus I'm having a hard time adjusting the screen brightness, the native keyb. keys were working under archlabs.
