[SOLVED] AUR - cannot install packages - gpg error

[SOLVED]I am currently unable to install packages from the AUR. Whether I manually build the package or use an AUR helper packages will not install. I believe that my problems started with installing pass (commandline password manager). I created a gpg key to use with pass. Now, when I try to install a package from the AUR, the build process run perfectly, at the end of the process it asks to import my personal key that I created to use with pass. I tried to import the key, but I get an error that states required key is missing from keyring. The program then fails to install.

Re: [SOLVED] AUR - cannot install packages - gpg error

If you have enabled package signing in makepkg.conf (BUILDENV array), then it will choose the first private key it finds to sign your packages. Either disable signing or import your public key into the pacman keyring.

Edit: If you want to use signatures you should explicitly set the key with GPGKEY (very useful if you have multiple private keys) and your name with PACKAGER in the makepkg configuration.

error: key "A8689830C1F36560" could not be looked up remotely
error: required key missing from keyring

You should use "pacman-key --add" and then configure the trust you have in the key or sign it locally.
