Has the package been fixed yet ? Everything was fine until about 1 month ago. I upgraded networkmanager but it broke and I could no longer get my internet to work on my laptop. My question is: has the package been updated to fix this problem. Thank you. I am looking forward to return to Arch.

The one from aur is working, the one from testing is still broken.

How did you build pkg-config to get it to work ?

My foult it turns out I'm not using the one from AUR, but version 0.6.1. Do not know where I got it from but at least it works . I still have the the package, if you like you can get it from me.

I fixed the networkmanager applet in testing yesterday. What exactly wasn't working in the testing version?

It was some sort of error with glibc. I just upgraded but it still can't find it's needed resources. I have hal, dbus, dhcdbd, and networkmanager daemons started.

@JGC: There used to be problems with the permissions in either /etc/dbus-1/system.d/nm-applet.conf or /etc/dbus-1/system.d/NetworkManager.conf. I've always had NM working since it got ported to Arch, but recently I've been having to change the config to give permissions.
