[SOLVED] [i3] dunst/notify-send - how to save notifications into file?

Hi,

I'm using i3 and dunst as a notification daemon. I'd like to save history of the recent notifications send with notify-send command via different applications into the file. If it's possible I also would like to get an information, which application sent a concrete notification.
I couldn't find any solution for this. I'm looking forward to your help or any suggestions.

Regards

Dunst can execute a script when it receives notifications.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dunst#Scripting

Create a rule that matches on any summary "*", then you can write appname, summary, body, icon, and urgency to a file.
