I'm new to Arch Linux. I installed it on my laptop(LG Gram)
it seem fine post installation. I don't remember my wlan works post installation because I used wired. But, when I turned on my laptop today wlan interface load fails. I lastly installed wine 5.1 yesterday but I don't think is the reason. I searched other cases in google but I couldn't find any valid solutions. How can I fix my driver?

I found someone similar issue with me but his solution is not working for me.
I added GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="loglevel=3 quiet intel_iommu=off" and grub-mkconfig again but it didn't work.

I'm not sure what is going on but it fixed after few reboot. I really to find solution and tried everything I found. It seem not worked at all. I found driver for my wlan and put in to /lib/firmware and rebooted. Now it works. After installing arch linux my wlan worked well but maybe something went wrong when installing softwares. Cheers

Hello, I've exactly the same problem with the same network controller since yesterday.
I also boot on GRUB and tried `intel_iommu=off` without success.
Which firmware do you use ?
Thanks

I met it too, and after a long time search on Archlinux, I guess it should be the problem with virtual device and PCI, so I tried to add some configuration at the virtualization drivers, virtio drivers ,vDPA drivers and VHost drivers ,you can try to add all the configurations , and then it works ,I can load firmware . remmeber don't add configuration of IOMMU Hardware suport.

My kernel is 5.10.6 and updated from 4.9.10

I'm having the same problem right now on linux-zen 5.10.13
I discovered that I get the same error in dmesg
Failed to start RT ucode: -110
Failed to run INIT ucode: -110
So it does not start at boot up. If I
rmmod iwlmvm iwlwifi mac80211 cfg80211
and then I reload iwlwifi, it works. But only if I do all of that manually.
UPDATE: problem was I was booting up with irqpoll parameter. Once I removed that, wifi started properly at boot.
