I've probably missed something obvious here.
When you viewed an email there used to be a drop down to allow images from various sources, on the right of the heading pane that had the message sender, receiver, date etc. on it. It seems to have disappeared ; it's definitely not scrolled off Ctrl+I to show messages works fine. I can't find anything in the menus or right clicking on the image/message.
Any ideas ?
