This one actually came from a Windows-used co-worker... but I like it:

The difference between Linux and Windows is similar to cleaning your house: If do it yourself, it will take you a bit to get it right, but in the end, nothing's missing and you're satisfied with the job. If you hire a maid, it costs money, and you get to relax. But in the end, you have no clue what happened, and you realize only too late that your jewelry is missing...
