Envy 7640 not repsonding.
My printer is not responding.
It is currently a wireless setup. And when I got to print, the display reads with the rotating red ring and the word "Printing..." But it never actually prints.

Similar problem here since upgrade to hplip-1:3.20.2-1 (and corresponding AUR hplip-plugin). Sorry can't help with solution as nothing shows in journal - print just stays in que indefinitely.
The policykit is optional and the error is present in 3.19 but doesn't affect printing. The ppd does matter. Have you tried adding the printer to the ppd file?
For now I roll back to hplip-1:3.19.12-1 as I don't have the ppd error. Rollback is only a workaround and is considered a partial upgrade.

Also had to downgrade hplip back to 3.19. I would rather live with a 'partial upgrade' than without a printer!
