[SOLVED] wpa_supplicant is creating the file and folder /-d/wlp107s0

Hi so this is happening after I did something and here is the auditd record of it.

I can see that it is wpa_supplicant creating it but I am not sure how to take it away.

Why is that -O option there? Read the man page for what that does and it should become clear why a directory /-d is being created and populated.

Alternatively, why is there a '-d' option put between the -O and it's required argument? I suspect, as you've told us noting about what you've done to end up in this state, that you modified a wpa_supplicant service file or some other recommended command line to add a -d debug flag, but you put it in completely the wrong place.

Edit: Oops, yes, the -d is indeed missing in the original service unit.

Yes, what is that supposed to show? Like I noted, in the service file, -O is followed by a required argument. In the OP's command line, that has been changed. The path argument provided to -O is '-d', so a directory /-d is created.

Yes, Trilby, as mentioned in the edit, I missed that there was the -d in OP's command line after the -O flag. The post should have answered the first paragraph of your post, and I only skipped the second one. My mistake.
@OP, what Trilby is saying, if you wanted to add the debug mode to wpa_supplicant, don't do it between the -O flag and its required parameter, but before it or after the path (/run/wpa_supplicant).

Oh cool I reverted the service file and it's fixed.
