Hello, I installed gnome-shell + gnome-control-center and weird application called "lstopo" ships with those packages. Few months ago nothing like this happened. How can I remove that?

$ pactree -s gnome-control-center
[...]
├─cheese
│ ├─gtk3
│ ├─gstreamer
│ ├─gst-plugins-bad
│ │ ├─gst-plugins-bad-libs provides gst-plugins-bad-libs=1.16.2
[...]

And hwloc provides lstopo. Is this a problem?

Thanks, but I don't understand why they've added this as a dependency. I like minimalism, so it's a problem for me.

Gnome and "I like minimalism (in terms of package count and dependencies)" are inherently contradictory statements. That dependency was added because gnome-control-center depends on cheese and would cease to function or lack functionality.
However as people think similarly in this aspect you can also opt for: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gnom … r-nocheese

That looks promising. I'll check this solution.

Package gnome-control-center-nocheese works like a charm. It should be added to main repository. Thanks!
