Timeshift won't run on its own

I've installed timeshift and tried to set it it up (using the wizard) to automatically create a backup at boot as well as one daily. The thing is, why I then go into timeshift none of these are there. Do I need to configure anything else?

Re: Timeshift won't run on its own

Sorry for putting it in the wrong forum.

I had looked at that, but looking at it again made me realize that I hadn't enabled my cronie service. Now that I've enabled it, I'm seeing timeshift files in /etc/cron.d/ Does this mean they should be running now?

I've never really used cron before, my apologies.
