What i have right now:
1. Package nvidia installed
2. Pacman hook as described here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NVIDIA#Pacman_hook
3. Nvidia modules in mkinitcpio config as described here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … de_setting and here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mkinitcpio#MODULES
4. File nvidia.conf in /etc/modprobe.d with this content: options nvidia_drm modeset=1
It worked well for 3+ years, but during update to nvidia-440.64-9, i got this error when rebuilding initram:
==> ERROR: module not found: `nvidia'
==> ERROR: module not found: `nvidia_modeset'
==> ERROR: module not found: `nvidia_uvm'
==> ERROR: module not found: `nvidia_drm'
How do i fix this?

Looks like nvidia was built for 5.5.13-arch2-1, but i have only 5.5.13.arch1-1 installed
I wonder how this happened, i just did regular pacman -Syu

pacman -S linux or -pacman -Syyuu does not show any updates, i guess it's a broken mirror? But i can find new linux package in my mirror

I updated linux package after switching mirror and initram build succeeded. Weird, my main mirror has new linux package, but pacman does not see it
