Re: [solved] old webcam

Have you tried?   I know nothing of those cameras, but I bet they 'just work'.

LMGTFY.

And LMCTFY:

$ find /usr/lib/modules/5.5.13-arch2-1/ -name 'gspca_spca5*'
/usr/lib/modules/5.5.13-arch2-1/kernel/drivers/media/usb/gspca/gspca_spca506.ko.xz
/usr/lib/modules/5.5.13-arch2-1/kernel/drivers/media/usb/gspca/gspca_spca501.ko.xz
/usr/lib/modules/5.5.13-arch2-1/kernel/drivers/media/usb/gspca/gspca_spca561.ko.xz
/usr/lib/modules/5.5.13-arch2-1/kernel/drivers/media/usb/gspca/gspca_spca508.ko.xz
/usr/lib/modules/5.5.13-arch2-1/kernel/drivers/media/usb/gspca/gspca_spca505.ko.xz
/usr/lib/modules/5.5.13-arch2-1/kernel/drivers/media/usb/gspca/gspca_spca500.ko.xz

FYI, I had never even heard of this camera before this thread.  Please make an effort.

Re: [solved] old webcam

Where did you get spca5 to search for?

I put "spca camera" or maybe it was "pd1100 camera" into duckduckgo and the link I provided was one of the top results (admittedly not first, but it stood out among the top 5 or 6).  I follwed the link which had a list of camera models and drivers.  Then I searched the list for your model pd1100, and there is was showing what the kernel module was ... though there were two possible modules.  I then checked the kernel modules available on my system and found both of those.
