[SOLVED] Minecraft glitching out every few seconds

I went to the official site and got the link to this package in the AUR, which installed and ran just fine. But I am having the problem that every few seconds in the game the player will turn abruptly in a random direction, basically making the game unplayable. I had the same problem recently in Manjaro and I'm not sure how to fix it.

Do you run something like unclutter or so to hide your mouse pointer? They way these work can often have weird effects on games.

I haven't installed anything (intentionally) to alter the game at all.

seems like a very specific strange thing. if you tried manjaro as well perhaps the problem is hardware related? ie mousepad

It is very strange, but I have had no problem when I was using Windows or Linux Mint on the same machine with the same peripherals.

Re: [SOLVED] Minecraft glitching out every few seconds

I have narrowed it down to a problem with KDE Plasma, and simply using another desktop environment like Cinnamon fixes the issue.
