Keffeine's engine

Hello there i tried today to play an avi file...

kaffeine plays only sound behind a black screen...
If i try to play it from the konsole entering

mplayer myvideo.avi

it prints out the message

It seems there is no Xvideo support for your video card available.
Run 'xvinfo' to verify its Xv support and read DOCS/HTML/en/video.html#xv!
See 'mplayer -vo help' for other (non-xv) video out drivers. Try -vo x11
==========================================================================
Opening video decoder: [ffmpeg] FFmpeg's libavcodec codec family
Selected video codec: [ffodivx] vfm: ffmpeg (FFmpeg MPEG-4)

In this case i can see video and hear sound too !!

My xvinfo

[archkick@myhost ~]$ xvinfo
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
no adaptors present

any suggestion to manage play videos from kaffeine or kmplayer...??

Re: Keffeine's engine

What driver are you using for it? Xorg's own brand, or the binary from ATI?

Re: Keffeine's engine

Are you sure that you have xv (xvideo) enabled in fglrx?
