auto-pause music player when playing video and auto-resume when done?

This is default behavior on android phone, can anyone share best way to set this up on linux desktop?

I'm running Plasma 5 with QMMP player. I'd like to be able to click on browser video clips while surfing without having to manually pause qmmp.

Advanced thanks for any suggestions anyone might have.

I think you should look in the direction of D-BUS / MPRIS.
This option may help browser-mpris2 or plasma-browser-integration
