Virtualbox seamless mode on ArchLinux Guest

hello guys, i have been trying to use seamless mode on my arch guest install... The host is Windows 10.
I installed virtualbox-guest-utils and xf86-video-vmware and enabled vboxservice.service as the wiki describes but the menu has Seamless mode greyed out.
I also tried manually loading the modules with

 modprobe -a vboxguest vboxsf vboxvideo

but no luck with that either. Some of the guest oprtions work, like sharedì clipboard.
I also tried to use the command to launch the seamless service:

VBoxClient --seamless

I am not sure on waht to do next.
