I have an issue where geolocation (using geoclue, firefox, etc...) only works for 60 seconds or so after connecting to wifi.
Then it stops working.
To make it work again, I have to disconnect and reconnect to my router.
This is not an issue on my windows10 computer and only happens on my linux machine.
when it is broken, where-am-i says:
Client object: /org/freedesktop/GeoClue2/Client/28
New location:
Latitude: 33.874000°
Longitude: 35.508900°
Accuracy: 25000.000000 meters
Timestamp: Fri 17 Apr 2020 05:38:08 PM EEST (1587134288 seconds since the Epoch)But when it works, it says:
New location:
Latitude: 33.896356°
Longitude: 35.531166°
Accuracy: 15.001557 meters
Speed: 0.000000 meters/second
Heading: 90.000000°
Timestamp: Fri 17 Apr 2020 05:39:42 PM EEST (1587134382 seconds since the Epoch)Any ideas how I can fix this? I am using networkmanager with wpa_supplicant.
Edit: Ok, I figured it out. Periodic auto-scan wasn't kicking in in networkmanager. I fixed that and it now works.
