Disconnected my power cable after tlp recalibrate

I ran

tlp recalibrate

and let it discharge fully and then recharge. But around at 70% charged I disconnected my power cable by mistake. This is a bad idea according to the docs. If I just run recalibrate again will it fix everything? It hasn't messed up anything in my battery hardware right?

Kind of wondering why you want to recalibrate your battery?

I just felt like the battery life wasn't as good as it is supposed to be so I thought re calibrating would fix it.

Re: Disconnected my power cable after tlp recalibrate

I would not think so. Take a look at the contents of /sys/class/power_supply. One of the folders will be named BAT0 or BAT1. If you have two batteries then you will have both. Take a look at /sys/class/power_supply/BAT?/uevent and especially the two lines:

POWER_SUPPLY_CHARGE_FULL_DESIGN=3220000
POWER_SUPPLY_CHARGE_FULL=3128000

If the charge_full is very much less then the full_design, then the battery is starting to wera out. To keep the battery working well it is usually advised to always run it down as far as possible, and then charge it up to 100%.
