HDMI soundcard is not detected by pulseaudio?

Could anyone help me with a similar problem but with a slightly different situation?

I also can't output the sound to my monitor, but since there are conflicting information about the ports and profiles (some are available, others not and some have an "unknown" status) I am not sure how I should proceed to correctly set the card profile.

In my case, the port hdmi-output-0 is available (and it correctly lists the monitor model), while hdmi-output-1 isn't.

What exactly is going in this case? Did my system not recognise the monitor as a sound-enabled device?
