I have been searching for some panels like pypanel.. But I dont like pypanel!

fbpanel or also very nice imo is xfce-panel (use shadowhands repo)

I myself can't say anything good nor bad about pypanel. I've goten the same errors since it first came out and I tried to run it. But that's just me. It does look good though.

You have to write this (if u want to use perlpanel):

perlpanel &

before:

exec wm_name

in ~/.xinitrc
