I've installed via pacman handbrake.
I've followed the istructions from the official webpage (handbrake.fr) about dependencies but when i type
ghb
this command returns:

Works fine here, reads like microcode issues, ensure your microcode is properly applied

Where is that mfx library coming from? Which instructions regarding dependencies are you talking about? Output of

You say you installed handbrake via pacman which will have installed all needed dependencies for you, but...

shows no dependencies for intel-media-sdk.

and say yes if it asks you to reinstall handbrake.

Same here on Manjaro
Anything other than vanilla Arch is not supported here. Your post does not help as package configurations can be completely different between different O/S flavours.
If @steoguitar is also running Manjaro, this whole post should not have been posted here at all.

Do you also override your libva driver definition to make use of iHD ? Can you - as a test - remove intel-media-sdk and see if that doesn't lead to the issue?

Of course you are right concerning the operating system base. But Manjaro does rely heavily on Arch, so the packages are almost the same and are only passed through after a period of time. On top there are some other packages / modifications of course.
Regarding distinct programs many problems also apply to manjaro users.
So far the problem was also solved for me with the actions V1del described!

I don't really consider this a solution as this should break hardware accelerated encoding/decoding on intel GPUs so it'd be interesting why that breaks.
