First time, HP laptop

Hi

I have been a Manjaro user for many years and after buying a new laptop and having many issues with a fresh install, I decided to try the real thing and install Arch step by step to see if a more tailored installation works better.

My laptop:
- HP Gaming Pavilion 15-ec0005ns
- AMD Ryzen 5 3550H
- GTX 1050
- SSD memory

Now, this post is just because I would like to get any possible tips regarding the combo AMD/NVIDIA, HP laptops and using an SSD.

My task now is to, hopefully, install Arch (I would like to get KDE Plasma) overwritting the failed Manjaro installation and make everything work (graphics, keyboard backlight, grub with SSD, booting without hanging).

So, pleased to join the community and looking forward to any piece of advice you can share. I guess I will have many questions for the first days but I will try to search the forum before asking.

Thanks in advance
