Dear friends,
I cannot start the program vice.
There is no file in usr/bin, but there is a folder in usr/lib/vice / usr/lib64/vice.
I tried to reinstall with pacman, no change.
To mention, the program did never start on this computer before (new setup).
Thank you

There is no vice in the repo. And there is no 'vice' in the AUR, but there are many packages with related names. Which package are you using? (edit: OOPS ... no idea how I didn't find it).

I can see vice in the community repo. Inspecting the binaries with pacman -Fl shows there are multiple binaries. Have you tried to run any of the binaries that the package provides? Have you checked with
pacman -Ql vice | grep /bin
This will list all binaries installed on your system that belongs to the vice package.

It would probably help if you read the documentation.

Also `man vice` would have provided the answer.

Like it was said, the documentation page gives the answer.
You can start C64 emulation with 'x64' (fast emulation) and 'x64sc' (accurate emulation).
Other emulated systems inside the vice package can be found in the documentation too.
Thanks to everybody to clear this up, solved.
