How to apply themes for every toolkit?

Hi,

I'm using a minimal setup with bspwm as a window manager.
I'm a big fan of the Solarized Dark color scheme so that's what I use for bspwm, terminal and my code editor.

But GUI programms are still the default ugly theme.

I want every GUI program to also use the Solarized Dark theme.
How would I do this best?

I know there are different engines like GTK and QT.
Ant there are also different version of these like GTK2, GTK3, QT4, QT5...?

How do I apply a theme to all of these?
Do I have to install a tool like lxappearance for every single version of the above?
Isn't there an easier way?

What would be the tools I need to install?
