Hi,
I was about to set up a child user in order to check out Gnomes' Parental Controls -app and discovered that Gnome control center does not display any users at all with a message "No Users Found - Unlock to add a user account". Also, "Unlock" -button is not there.
I have routinely set up user accounts prior to Gnome installation and everyone can login through gdm and use Gnome with no problems whatsoever. It is only that the users do not appear in Settings as if they did not exist.
I suspect it may have something to do with UIDs, which I have set up starting from 501 for macOS compatibility. That is all I have and no idea where to start looking for a solution.
Any help would be appreciated.
