Disable systemd-ask-password's "press TAB to turn off echo"

Hello,

my root and home partition are encrypted via dm-crypt/cryptsetup.

Since some weeks (perhaps the last update of systemd?), cryptsetups password prompt says something like "press TAB to turn off echo".

As a consequence, I have to press EVERYTIME any key, to get rid of this message. When I just type in my password as usual, the first keystroke isn't recorded, the decryption fails and I have to type  my passphrase again.
This is really, really annoying.

It is okay for me to see the asterisk for every letter and it is also okay when the password promt doesn't show any feedback - but I want to just type in my passphrase without pressing another key before!

How do I disable this behaviour?

Edit: Typo

This is weird. If I ignore the prompt, and just type my passphrase, it unlocks the device successfully. Similarly, pressing TAB and then entering it also works.

What is the first character of your passphrase? And your keyboard layout?

#edit: and you are using dracut, right?

The first character of my passphrase is "D". My keyboard layout is QWERTZ (de-latin1-nodeadkeys). And no, I use Mkinitcpio, not dracut.
