I have been using Arch for a month and a half now in my Lenovo ThinkPad Extreme Generation 2 with dual boot. Today I booted my Windows and because the computer has Lenovo Vantage installed, it warn me that there is a BIOS update available. I want to update it, but I'm a little concerned that it could break GRUB or in someway my Arch installation. Is that possible? Does someone here has the same laptop and was able to update the BIOS without any issues? Is there a way to find out without doing it?

You'll probably have to add the NVRAM entry back (assuming UEFI), that's about it.
Unless it introduces new bugs, of course.
