Hello,
i would like to know if it's possible to limit trizen's (i use it more often than yay) search outputs, like in the screnn provided, i would like to limit results to 20-50 and not 3042 xD
I have dug a bit into trizen's config file and didn't found anything relevant, neither by searching in google.
Regards,
Gr4ve.

Make your search criteria more specific.

Ah ... how do you expect it to work? Yes,`head` will break the interactive prompt, but anything that acheives your goal would effectively break the intent of the interaction. Use head or other tools to limit the output to get an idea how you may want to adjust your search terms.
If your search terms resulted in thousands of results but only displayed 20, then prompted you for numbers of which ones you wanted to install ... well that'd be rather silly, wouldn't it. The odds of the packages you actually wanted to install being in the displayed list of 20 would be quite small.
Using more specific search terms is the only way to get a rationally limited list, anything else would just discard a majority of results randomly (or based on sort order, but not on any meaningful criteria).
