I'm using Arch Linux with X11, KDE Plasma and AMDGPU (RX590).
I would like to share single application windows in Firefox/Chromium via WebRTC (for Jitsi, etc).
My laptop (Thinkpad X220), which is also running Arch with KDE, is able to do that. On my computer, the selection box for window sharing in Chromium is just empty. In Firefox, there is also only "Entire screen" in the drop down list, which is working fine
I have looked through all packages, missing on my desktop compared to the laptop and installed every package (except for the Intel drivers) I could think of being related to display/x11, but it haven't helped.

I have a ThinkPad T470s with fully updated Arch Linux running Plasma and have the same problem, the list of application windows to share is always empty in Chrome and Firefox. I have absolutely no clue where to look at to debug this.
@quanten Did you find a fix in the meantime?
I would be very thankful for ideas where to start to dig into this. Or others who also use Plasma and are able to share single application windows via webrtc.

No, I don't have found any fix in the meantime.
Sometime later in May, i think, was an update which made it possible for me to select single screens in chromium. Before that, I was only able to share my entire three screen setup as a super wide screen image. Sometimes I also use a VirtualBox Ubuntu VM for video conferences and window sharing, also nice to jail zoom. Therefore there was not longer such a urge need.
I already tried to read some chromium source code, but wasn't able to find something which fixed it. Maybe you have more luck: https://source.chromium.org/chromium/ch … t_utils.cc
