Gnome Clocks - No Sound Alerts

My gnome-clocks was working fine until recently, but now only shows the desktop notification without any alert sound. My sound settings look fine (link below), and when I click the buttons at the bottom I can hear the sounds, so there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my audio in general.
