KDE doesn't detect DVDs since last upgrade

Since the last pacman -Syu KDE doesn't detect DVDs.
Works fine with USB sticks and CDs.

The DVD device just doesn't show up in system:/media

The output from lshal -m when I enter a DVD is:

Start monitoring devicelist:
-------------------------------------------------
storage_model_QSI_CD_RW/DVD_ROM_SBW242C property storage.removable.media_available = true
storage_model_QSI_CD_RW/DVD_ROM_SBW242C property storage.removable.media_size = 4670455808 (0x116618000)
volume_part_1_size_4670455808 added

I don't know how to continue debuging
Suggestions please

Re: KDE doesn't detect DVDs since last upgrade

Must be a problem with hal.
I have 2 disks.
One with 2 partitions (hda1 and hda5) and the other one with 4 partitions (hdb1 hdb5 hdb6 hdb7-swap and hdb8).

After last update, under :/media in KDE I can see only partitions from the second disk. Partitions from the first one are mounted at /mnt but I can't see them in :/media

Re: KDE doesn't detect DVDs since last upgrade

Since I can see the DVD in the lshal output I thought It was not a problem with HAL (but I have no idea).

I don't know how HAL interacts with KDE.
Can someone tell me where to find documentation about that?
