Firefox: cannot change icon size in file open dialog

Firefox 77.0.1 (64-bit) in KDE Plasma ver. 5.18.5

The firefox 'open file' dialog lists file icons too small for inspecting image files. Mozilla could not provide a way (using preferences or about:config) to modify the dialog settings specific to icons, only font size.

In general, users have reported that feature was removed (not confirmed by Mozilla).

One Mozilla forum user referred to the linux GTK "file chooser." Not sure that applies, but in KDE plasma with Breeze, changing the theme icon size does not affect firefox, even with plasma integration.

Changing the firefox boolean in about:config for "allow_platform_file_picker" did not work for both true and false.
