Transparency issues on openbox with urxvt and conky
I have a problem with transparency on openbox. When mpd updates conky for instance it turns white and unreadable, and for urxvt it turns "normal" when I go to a different desktop and back so I have to move it
around a little to make it transparent again
I use bsetbg to set wallpaper.

It happens with my conky too, moving a bit the mouse make conky "reappear". Don't know why but it's not a great hassle to me.
Btw, I use feh to set the bg

In xorg.conf yes. How do I enable it in conkyrc?

i had a similar issue where the colors in conky would screw up when mpd updated. setting the following options fixed it for me.
own_window yes
own_window_type override
own_window_transparent yes"Alright it's settled. Zorak is the hammer, Moltar you suck."

As a side note, conky does horrible things to OpenGL direct rendering (at least with me, nvidia drivers).
