Trying to Get a Mono Updated to current stable.

So basically just at the subject says. I'm writing this here because I use a Docker on my Unraid server that is built using arch linux. One of the dependencies of this program is Mono, here is where i'm getting stuck. I was told that I need to have the current stable version 6.8.0 as there is a certificate issue with the version 6.4.0.198-2 which is showing here (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/?name=mono). Is there anyway i can request to have this package updated to the new stable?

Re: Trying to Get a Mono Updated to current stable.

The package has been flagged out of date, so the maintainer is aware.

If you can't wait, you can use asp to build the new version yourself.

Re: Trying to Get a Mono Updated to current stable.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Any idea how long something like this usually takes? I only ask because i don't think i have the knowledge to update it myself inside the docker.

Looks like that build of mono is 264 days old.  Patience is a virtue, thanks again!

It depends. There may be a specific reason that it is not being updated. You could always search the ML to see if there is.
