Hi
I have recently installed Arch Linux and at the moment I'm trying to get wifi set up, using wpa_supplicant. However, after starting wpa_supplicant and wpa_cli, and typing "scan" in wpa_cli, it raised the error "control event network not found".
I originally thought the issue was with firmware/hardware - but "iw dev INTERFACE scan" works fine so this shows that maybe the problem is elsewhere.
I have iwlwifi, and Intel Centrino.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Edit: solution was to use netctl instead.
