Solution: Change device model of NIC to VIRTIO and install the appropriate drivers on windows.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
After my win10 guest boots up, within a few minutes my internet connectivity completely bricks on my host and guest. Restarting dhcpcd does not restore connection even though no errors are reported, and i am forced to reboot my host arch system entirely. This may be new behavior after win10 updated a few hours ago but I'm not sure. I think i set something up wrong in my XML but I'm not sure. Anything is appreciated.
Using a standard qemu/vfio/libvirt/kvm setup

EDIT: added some clarification.
EDIT 2: After further testing, the Microsoft store had nothing to do with it. Connectivity just went down at around the same time. Am dumb.

1. Use code tags when pasting to the boards: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … s_and_code
2. How is this anything other than a Windows issue?

Sorry about formatting, and i posted it here because its a qemu issue on an arch host
Offline
Yes, but the error/bug is triggered from the Windows machine visiting a MS site. Can you reproduce from Arch? If not, its a Windows problem, not ours.

It wasn't actually the Microsoft store, I was wrong. ![]()
