Getting Temporary failure in name resolution

I am not able to access the internet using Ethernet.
I had installed gnome and then removed it for i3 using pacman -Runs .

But turns out this removed many important packages including networkmanager and dhcpd. Now I am not able to access the internet. I would have used live USB to install but i lost my USB. Anyway I can get internet access on my machine? I tried many things in wiki also, resetting dns server, didnt work. The ethernet interface was down, switched it on. Didn't work. Please help.

If you didn't clear the pacman cache you can install the relevant packages from there (with pacman -U $filepath), by default in /var/cache/pacman/pkg. Next time pay attention to the pacman output, it's important to double check it.

Yeah, i realised that later. I installed dhcpcd and it started working.
